Despite a little bit of early rain, the 2008 Membership Picnic was very well attended. It was an incredible opportunity to enjoy some time with friends, new and old. From the chow line through the games and into the bounce house, a good time was had by all. If you would like to assist with next year's event, please contact the office staff or a board member. Together we can assure that our community continues to come together to visit, meet and greet each other for years to come.

Special thanks goes out to the L.I.P.O.A. board and staff members, their families, numerous local businesses that donated prizes and materials, Susan Moorehead, Pam Perleberg, Al & Carol Shannon, Brian Roberts, Sue Hiither, Sue Stromik, Marilyn Dewey, Gary Lear, Robyn Gott-Wickes, Mr. Rooter for the bounce house and anyone else that deserves due credit that we may have accidentally missed in creating this list. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we may have missed you doing something on our behalf.

Lastly, thank you to each of our neighbors that took the time to come out and spend the day with us. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we do having you.
