July 18, 2007 Storm
"This is the worst I've ever seen since I've lived out here." Unfortunately, this quote can not be credited to any one individual, but rather to countless Lake Isabella residents that were gathered outside their homes, in the roads, ditches and shores of our community last evening. These words were the start of countless conversations last night following a severe storm that tore through the area.

It was amazing to see how fast and furious the community came together and poured out of their homes with saws, brooms and trimmers in hand to help one another. Be thankful and proud to live in an area where everyone looks out for one another.

While there was plenty of physical damage to homes and properties in the area, as of the time this page was created, we have received no reports of harm done to residents. For this we can all be thankful!
