The Isabella County Sheriff's Department is offering boater safety classes to students 12 years and older. Classes will be held at the department April 25, May 16, June 6, June 20 and July 18 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pre-registration is required at least one week prior to the date of the class, and special accomodations require at least two weeks notice. To register, contact the Sheriff's Department Moday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at 989-772-5911, ext. 273. There is no charge for the class and lunch will be provided.
